English II
This class includes a second year of emphasis on state core curriculum competencies. Students will work on reading strategies, writing skills, and speaking and listening competencies. They will read a selection of novels, plays, poetry, and stories and devote time to preparation for the Michigan Merit Exam in English Language Arts.
